“I’m asking people to turn over a new leaf and go vegetarian.” – Alicia Mayer, Filipino actress and FHM cover model, who provocatively posed in lettuce lingerie to promote PETA’s (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) “Let Vegetarianism Grow On You” vegetarianism campaign in the Philippines.

After seeing Alicia, will you turn over a new leaf and Go Green?

No doubt, male viewers will have farm fresh fashion fantasies about Alicia’s edible lingerie… Alicia also challenges men with her “Eating Meat Got You Down? Get It Up. Go Vegetarian” PETA poster…

      Hi Bharat c.Bhad,

You’re joking, right? This post was written for comical levity only. My comedy was never intended to spark opinions about the pros and/or cons of any dietary lifestyle.
If you believe mankind should be Herbivores then discussing the dietary facts in the appropriate forum may be more helpful then posting your bizarre opinion on my comedy post.

To start, here are some facts:

According to science, man is an omnivore who eats both meat and vegetables.

Herbivores who eat only fruits and vegetables need a lot of plant energy to stay alive. For example, some animals like cows and sheep need to eat all day long.

A cannibal is a primitive tribal Anthropophaginian who eats human flesh. Although there may be rare cases of cannibalism behavior, cannibalism is not a civilized dietary lifestyle.

  2. I just saw Alicia Mayer’s new vegetarian PSAs on PETAAsiaPacific.com! I’m a big fan of hers and I’m happy to see she’s speaking out for animals. You can see her sexy new ads HERE. There’s even a video of behind-the-scenes footage from the PETA photo shoot! Alicia is apparently longtime vegetarian, who went made the switch in diet because of the horrific conditions on factory farms where animals are raised for food. Who knew!

I’ve always been a huge fan of Diether Ocampo, but I like him even more now that he’s spoken out against zoos! I just stumbled across THIS FEATURE on PETAAsiaPacific.com which has a hot new ad featuring Diether painted like a zebra, and a really cool video that has behind-the-scenes footage of the PETA photo shoot! So awesome!

      Hi Andrew,

Thank you for your comment and Alicia Mayer’s new vegetarian PSA information.

For some food for thought, please consider these two rhetorical questions:

In the cosmic game of life, what is the difference between animal carnivores (like Lions, Tigers, and Bears Oh My) and human carnivores?

What is the difference between animal life and plant life (some believe all life has a soul or spirit also known as the essence of all life in both plant and animal life)?

Hopefully, asking these rhetorical questions reveals that a balanced healthy diet is the result of personal belief… for some a vegetarian diet is the way to live healthy while other people prefer a meat diet to live healthy, and other people believe a balanced healthy diet includes both meat and vegetables.

No doubt, the advantages and disadvantages of each diet plan will be headline news for years to come. For example, “Many scientists think it (meat) played a crucial role in the development of the human brain… Meat has made us smart enough to figure out how we can live without it,” according to the Washington Post.

  3. I have no desire to Go Green, but that chick makes a compelling arguement. She is hot.

  4. I still think the “top” is made from watermelons …

  5. Hi Rev,

Will U Turnip and Lettuce see you in your lettuce outfit? ;)

  6. Hi Robert,

Giving up the grill is surprising considering your food fantasy is most likely a head of lettuce, two ears of corn, and a pair of chicken breasts!

  7. Hi Speedcat Hollydale,

Speedy Chickencat impotence? Chicken Pox may affect your sexual performance but eating boneless fried chicken may have some adverse effects especially when U notice your Rooster no longer rises and shines because he sees nothing to crow about!

P.S. Apparently there are non-Pork Bacon Bits for Vegans made with soy or textured vegetable protein with flavor additives so that they taste similar to bacon.

  8. Didn’t take much to convince this Rev…
    ;)

Oddly enough, I think I have that same lettuce outfit-

  9. suddenly I have a need to be a veggie freak..quick hide the grill in the 56 Chevy out back

  10. All lettuced … er, finished ;-)

  11. MEEZ gooontoo doo a Titillating Thursday as well, after getting out the Blueaoooo Cheezy dressing and Bacon Bits. Can a Vegan have bacon bits???

So wait a minute, is chicken making me impotent?? (I know your reply will B a good one)
