Vindicated… Institutional Irony? Penn State University clears their own meteorology professor, Michael Mann yet, Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli is continuing his independent investigation of Mann’s alleged fraud.
Myron Ebell claims “The evidence of manipulation of data is too obvious and too strong” and the Climate-gate scandal will not be erased by whitewash reports.

True Science requires Empirical Evidence that is sensible, measurable, and most importantly repeatable so that other people can check, test, and verify the scientific claims.
Tree ring data has too many variables due to constantly changing weather conditions that need to be considered before Tree ring data can be used as evidence to support any long term Climate Change or CO2 change. For example, tree rings are affected by the amount of precipitation, CO2 changes, temperature (cool versus a warm season) of the growing season, etc.
This satirical post mocks the attempt to Hide the Decline in Global Temperatures using unreliable tree-ring data as noted in this Source.
In addition, Geophysical Science reveals that CO2 emission and consumption are kept in rough balance and man-made CO2 is a negligible one twenty-fifth of one percent.
