Barney Frank, Chairman of the US House of Representatives Financial Services Committee, is responsible for oversight of the US mortgage markets Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac administered as government-sponsored enterprise (GSE).

From 1989 to 2008, Banking Queen Barney Frank received $42,350 in Campaign Contributions from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Source
