On December 13th, 2010, U.S. District Judge Henry Hudson ruled the “individual mandate” of ObamaCare is unconstitutional citing that Obama’s health law left federal authority without “logical limitation.” In other words, the Federal Government has no right to force you to buy something.

S. 192 was placed on Senate Legislative Calendar No. 4 under General Orders.

Currently, Obamacare (Affordable Care Act) is before the Supreme Court and petitioners are challenging the Mandate requirement forcing Americans to buy health insurance. Both opponents and proponents of ObamaCare, including 26 states, petitioned the Supreme Court. “Florida et al v U.S. Department of Health and Human Services et al” (Case No. 11-400) was argued on Mar 28, 2012 and a decision may be handed down in June.
