Never Fear,
The Care Bears will distract us with their Rainbow of Hope to keep us happy every time Obama CHANGES on the issues…

  1. Hi Eric “SpeedyCat,”

Are you referring to the Barack Obama’s “Illegal Wiretaps We Can Belieive In” Poster?

On July 9th, Obama voted for H.R. 6304 which amends F.I.S.A (Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act) to give telecom companies immunity against civil damages while they are helping the government illegally spy on American citizens.

By voting for the Bill, Obama CHANGED his position according to Bill Burton, an Obama campaign spokesman who said, “To be clear: Barack will support a filibuster of any bill that includes retroactive immunity for telecommunications companies.” –Link to the Source

Bill H.R 6304 was passed by the House (293-129) on June 20th one day after the Bill was introduced. The Senate (69-28 ) passed the Bill on July 10th, and President Bush signed the Bill into Public Law No: 110-261 on July 10, 2008.

Apparently, “Illegal Wiretaps We Can Belieive In” poster was created by a Obama fan on the day the Bill became Law.

Does the American Dream now include a election in which neither candidate cares about our civil liberties???

Can the government protect our freedom by taking away our freedom???
