Will You be Disconnected by Obama’s Changes?

To find out, please take the Obama Test to see if he represents your views.

Before voting your life away, please take the test and see if you truly agree with Obama.

Thanks to my Blogging Buddy, Bobby Revell, the Obama Test Link is via his post, “On The Verge of Homelessness in America” which covers some of the concerns of the current financial crisis while Obama was busy elsewhere in DC.

Vote SMART Public Service Announcement
Before voting, please check the records of the Candidates at Vote Smart for Indecision 2008… It is the only one defense against unethical campaigners who spin information to deceive voters.

The following question by a concerned citizen is not a sponsored or paid campaign Ad:

For a real refreshing change, what would happen if every American voted on the principle of restoring American Liberty by voting for Chuck Baldwin, a independent candidate, for President to see if he will represent us and restore American Liberty in government?

To solve the mess created by the Democrats and Republicans, Chuck Baldwin is the only candidate who wants to end the Iraq War and terminate U.S. membership in the United Nations. Chuck Baldwin will also end the export of American jobs and maintain a Strong National Defense For America.

Could Obama be related to another famous disconnected American? wink.gif

  1. Hi Speedcat Hollydale,

Big Hug for Top Cat, secret agent 0007 😀

  2. ((( Hug for Moneypenny )))

See you later, bed time for the Cat.

  3. Hi Speedy Speedcat Hollydale,

Did you read my mind??? 😉 According to the test, I disagreed with 94% of Obama’s positions.

My major reason for publishing these posts is my frustration of seeing the overwhelming support for a man whose record clearly indicates he is the Big Brother of Big Government which he believes is the change America needs.

I wonder how many pro Obama supporters have researched Obama’s record and understand his position when Illinois residents don’t know what Obama truly stands for. And, I wonder what happened to the unbiased mainstream media???

No election should be simple as the “I hate Bush = I love Obama” slogans and every American who cherishes freedom and national security, especially Americans who have children and grandchildren, should be very concerned about this election and review the records of all candidates before voting.

Beside the stress of the financial crisis, and the stress of the biased liberal media, I’ve been very busy at work and dealing with a private family crisis. I miss the days when I (we?) could sit down, relax, write non-political humor and watch Speedy chase his chickens! 🙂

  4. I am actually burnt out on this … and frustrated. I go to blog after blog that claims Obama is the greatest thing to ever happen to America, he is a genius, and if you do not support him you are a pile of steaming dung. I am all in favor of talk, and as Bobby points out, “research” into how a candidate really aligns himself with your own ideals.
Obviously I am not an Obama supporter, and disagreed with EVERYTHING (as far as I saw) on the test site.
Seems that “I hate Busch = I love Obama” in most parts of the country … and you just cannot get past there. What really caused the financial crisis does not matter to so many. Nothing matters besides the equation above. “I hate Busch = I love Obama”

I think it’s sad that an election CAN be that simple. I skimmed the surface of Chuck Baldwins site … and plan to return.

anyhooo …. HOW are ya!!!! I miss the days of chickens chasing young Speedy in training 🙂

  5. Hi Meleah,

Hopefully, reason and reviewing the record of the candidates will prevail over the rhetoric and empty promises of the candidates when Americans vote this November?

  6. “and help raise awareness of independent candidates in what may be one of the most critical elections of our life.”

    AMEN to that sister.

  7. Hi Bobby,

Yes, Chuck would probably be more popular yet, I can understand anyone not being able to entirely separate their personal beliefs from their political beliefs.

Do we call Liberals who support Chuck Baldwin, a “liberal constitutionalist” which could be the perfect oxymoron? 😀 I would love to meet a liberal constitutionalist…can you imagine our conversations with this strange cat? 😉

Abortion never ceases to appall me. I doubt anyone can logically explain to me how a minority group of men decided that murdering a developing viable human fetus is legal. Isn’t one of the principles of good government to enforce laws protecting all human life living in the womb and
    surviving the birthing room?

As far as I know, there are only three legal reasons for Abortion ~ rape, incest, and a life threatening pregnancy.

  8. After reading a ton of Chuck’s information, I see he really doesn’t let his beliefs affect his politics. He’d gain more popularity if he left all information about biblical law off his site though. That way, he would appeal to some liberals.

I’m personally against abortion, but if a woman is raped etc., she should be allowed that option. If a woman irresponsibly gets pregnant with an irresponsible man, that is her own fault (and his). If they think abortion is the answer, I don’t care. They are adults and should’ve used birth control. I know a girl that’s had 20+ abortions! That is really disturbing. Maybe Chuck is right! His views on gun rights and abolishing taxes is freaking awesome!!! He is much more libertarian than any of the mainstream libertarians.

  9. Hi Bobby,

Now you have me really concerned since your liberal friends might shoot you with a illegal handgun for not voting for big brother’s government control by Obama, of Obama, and for Obama. 😉

Yes, DownsizeDC is another great site for voters to learn how the restriction of federal government power is a major campaign issue that only one Presidential candidate, Chuck Baldwin, seems to be addressing ~ we won’t hear Obama or McCain address the U.N.Constitutional power of Big Brother.

Hopefully, Baldwin realizes our founding fathers sought to prevent another church state which persecuted and murdered innocent people. If I recall correctly, the potentate in the “… renounce all allegiance and subjection to all and every foreign king, prince, potentate…” declaration made by new citizens refers to the Pope of Roman Christianity as indicated by my Great-Great-Great Grandfather who said, “shake off the yoke of bondage” in the countries of Roman superstition. This should not shock any Christian since Catholicism “dispersed Impiety, Bigotry, Persecution, Murder and Rebellion through every part of the World.” according to the Continental Congress, 1774

  10. Ah yes Debbie, after Obama is elected, we will see the liberal fascism in all it’s glory. Vote smart is a great site! I love downsizedc.org also which I found through Baldwin’s site. After reading through the voting records of Bob Barr, I have determined he’s not really a libertarian. He is for a reduction in all taxes, not abolishing all taxes – so he’s a pseudo-libertarian, which is what Ron Paul said about him.

I don’t agree with Baldwin’s entire platform (too much Christian idealism) but his voting record and position on most issues is exactly like mine. I’ll be voting for Baldwin. I admire his honesty!

It is irresponsible for any American to vote without reading every candidates entire record and position on every issue. Voting based on what’s seen on TV is offensive to me. Liberalism means people want to be taken care of. True constitutional conservatism means you are a rugged individualist.

Having said that, most of my friends are liberals voting for Obama and I promise not to shoot them…hahahahaha

  11. Hi Meleah,

This Blog is a No-shoot Zone! All political views are welcome here. Since the media seems to have already elected Obama, hopefully, the humorous posts will highlight reviewing the records of all candidates and their positions, and help raise awareness of independent candidates in what may be one of the most critical elections of our life.

No doubt that whoever is elected, political comedy will flourish because both major candidates seem more content to be comical than face the issues truthfully.

  12. Hi Bobby,

Sorry about forgetting to say “your welcome,” for your Link Love thank you… Commenting on the Run since my husband needed more tests at the hospital.

  13. But….Um…yeah….I am Pro-Obama.

    *dont shoot*

  14. Upside down phones always make me laugh.

  15. Hi Bobby,

The Obama test is like a political litmus test that provides a relative current picture of whether Obama represents the American people or not.

No doubt, Obama will become Born-again and change the majority of his positions if he is elected. A major problem in American elections is the person who we vote for is almost never the same person once he takes office.

After reading about Chuck’s constitutional platform, he appears to be willing to restore the federal government to original intent of the constitution. My vote was a 50-50 split decision between Barr and Baldwin until Barr revealed his extreme flip-flop change about Global Warming which granted is not a key issue of this campaign yet, I am tired of voting for men who say one thing to get elected, flip-flop, and do the complete opposite which is clearly a misrepresentation.

After Reagan, I’ve been voting for independent (third party) presidential candidates hoping they would be elected President to see if they would bring real change to Washington. Unfortunately, the media and the political process seem to despise independent voices.

Seems to me, viral Blogging could be one of the best ways for their independent voices to be heard?

  16. I retook the Obama test and my disagreement percentage changed from 82% to 85%. One touchy subject is in affording terrorism suspects constitutional rights. All human beings charged of an American crime should have these rights, so I agree with Obama on that.

During 9-11, they found a passport on the ground from a terror suspect (that magically survived the inferno) and put his picture on the front page of every newspaper. Then the guy stood up in a Florida bar drinking tequila and said, “I’m alive!” Hahaha! Many of the terror suspects in Guantanamo are just scape goats. I believe the U.S. government paid for 9-11 and have been paying to train terrorists for years including Bin Laden.

Withdrawal from Iraq? Like a band-aid…RIGHT OFF. End it now, not in 18 months or 100 years. The other things I agreed with him on are irrelevant issues. Because of your insistence about Baldwin, I’m going to read everything there is about him and make my decision.

Thanks for the link Debbie! As you can tell, I’m going through some changes in political thought 🙂
