Al Franken-berry, the Hollydale Court Jester
Al Franken, a former sharp-tongued liberal pundit, has created a one man political circus in the heated Minnesota race to the Senate. The Democratic-Farmer-Labor candidate was defeated by 215 votes which triggered an automatic recount.
After two months of recounting the ballots, Franken-berry withdrew his 633 challenges to the ballots on Dec 3rd. In another strange political spin, the number of challenges exceeded the margin between Franken and Norm Coleman, the Republican candidate. On Dec 3rd, 2008, Minnesota’s secretary of state announced Coleman’s lead increased to 316 votes after 98 percent of the vote had been recounted.
This Franken-berry political circus sounds like the 2000 Presidential race… no matter how long the recount takes and how the ballots are counted, the Republican candidate will win.
Former Presidential candidate, Senator Speedy Speedcat Hollydale was unavailable for comment on the new Franken-berry clown in his Hollydale court…
In other breaking comical political news, Republican Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen thought she was being Punked when Obama called to congratulate her on her re-election this past Wednesday. After a one minute conversation, Ros-Lehtinen hung up on President-elect Barack Obama after telling Barack she wasn’t falling for his radio station hoax, saying “‘Oh, no, I won’t be punked.”

There are many democrats out there I actually like, but Al Franken is a fruit loop. He put the “too” in too far left. Obama looks like a republican by comparison, and he’s the most liberal senator…LOL!!!!
I like Al Franken just fine as long as it’s not in politics – stick with the comedy instead Al. 🙂

It’s a WordPress Blog effect under the Appearance menu in the Dashboard. Select Extras and checkmark the “Show falling snow on my blog. (Only until January 4th 2009.)” field and you’re good to go.

@ crackpot: I can somewhat understand why Big Brother Obama was elected because he used the Successful Strategy of his cousin, Dubya Bush who also repeated the Change Mantra over and over again.

While the Frankenberrie might think his political muscle can count votes that are not there, the proof that his two stepping ballet dance around the hand counts is evident by the pink milk left in the bowl.
The real winner here is the lawyers cashing in their count choculas!
Frankenberrie ran on the platform that he wanted reform, as his pockets were bulging from greesed geese in the liberal rocket pack. In short – I don’t like the crackpot, and he has a sukiaki radio show.
Maybe for Christmas, we can send him back to SNL. (although, I don’t think they want him either)
