NAA The Fighting Newsies Newspaper Lobby

On March 31, 2009, Stephen Colbert interviewed John Sturm of the Newspaper Association of America in his Better Know a Lobby Segment…
Vodpod videos no longer available.

To help the Fighting Newsies, Stephen urged John to add a Porn Section in online newspapers to earn extra cash.

It is interesting to note how many people apparently don’t realize that they are the subject of Stephen’s Satire.

Apparently, popular phuny pundits are not widely known.

  1. Hi Debbie! I hope I’m finally back to blogging again. It is really difficult to do sometimes! I think porn would make an excellent addition to any newspaper. The naked body and graphic sexual acts are wonderful and should be seen by all (especially on Sunday morning)

      Hi Bobby!

@ “I hope I’m finally back to blogging again.” : Did U slip off the Blogging Boat? Seems like the more I blog, the more I need time to recharge my Blogging Batteries!

@ Newspaper Porn: I wonder if graphic sexual acts would have helped to clearly reveal Obama’s Stimulus Package? 😉

  2. I am seriously in love with Stephen Colbert

    I loved the Iphone contest!

My news comes through feeds that I pick and click, at home and on mobile. I do not want paper – cause I’m saving the rainforests (he heeeeeee)

Guess what, I found my way here today through an image search involving Speedy Chickens. I also stole a Moneypenny Productions photo-shoppie for later. We can battle it out on Judge Judy 😉

      Hi Speedy,

Oh My… Someone broke into Moneypenny headquarters, read the weekend post, stole my photo-shoppie, and left a digital evidence trail for Judge Judy.

Shhh… don’t tell Mr. Sturm… I have been saving trees for nine years by reading the news online. 🙂
