Obama’s Real Change You Can Believe In

Saving pennies to spend billions of dollars is Obama’s real Change you can believe in. The following video is a excellent way to visualize Obama’s $100 million cut in his $3.55 trillion budget…

Did Obama discover pennies raining from heaven?
The President found his fortune’s fallin’ all over the town,
By making sure that his umbrella is upside down.

“You can feel the Change coming all across America.”

Looking for some Loose Change…

The Pennies in the Video represent:

5 pennies = $2 billion dollars
and
8,880 pennies = $3.552 trillion dollar budget which does not include the $787 billion Stimulus Package and the $83 billion for the Iraq War.

$100 million ($100,000,000) divided by $3.5 trillion ($3,500,000,000,000) equals 0.00002857 times 100 equals a 0.00285743% Change in the Budget (almost 350 times smaller than 1%).

“$100 million here, $100 million there, pretty soon even in Washington it adds up to real money.” –President Obama, April 20, 2009

The Swine Flu Scare: Eight days later, Obama requested $1.5 billion to fight the Porky Pig Pandemic.

$1.5 billion ($1,500,000,000) is 15 times more than what Obama is seeking to save in 90 days.

Obama will save us $100 million in order to spend $1.5 billion…
Now that is real Change you can really believe in.

  1. That video was quite scary Debbie! I’ll be casting my meaningless little vote next election for whoever is constitutional—and it will not be a republican or democrat. I think the country will turn on him soon and when it does, we can help start an impeach Obama campaign. I think my state is immune to the crisis because life in Mississippi is freaking great hahaha:)

      Hi Bobby!

      Life’s Great in Mississippi?
Have you seen the Unemployment rate?

      USA — Mississippi
      4.5% — 5.4% Mar 2001 – Dubya Bush
      8.6% — 9.4% Apr 2009 – Barack Bush

      Source: Google’s Online Government

Have you considered life might be greener next door in Louisiana? 😉

States with the lowest Unemployment rate:

      Nebraska, 4.9%
      South Dakota, 5.1%
      Wyoming, 5.3%
      South Dakota, 5.4%
      Utah, 5.4%
      Louisiana, 5.7%
      Iowa, 5.8%
      New Mexico, 6%
      Oklahoma 6.1%
      Kansas, 6.5%
      New Hampshire 6.6%
      Arkansas, 6.7%

Only 12 States below the average national Unemployment rate in President Heinz Obama’s ’57’ States can’t be a good sign for Obama.

      • I often wonder exactly how they get those stats. Now, the Mississippi gulf coast is much different than the rest of the state. I think there’s a lot of people who refuse to take a lesser job. I know one guy who has a masters degree and can’t find that 100K job right now, so he chooses to be unemployed because he’s too good to work a menial job. What I’m saying is you can survive on earning $10.00 per hour here as many people do. While Louisiana may have a lower unemployment rate than we do, it is much more expensive to live there—not to mention dangerous (super high crime rate in most areas). There are certain places in my state I just wouldn’t live because there’s no commerce and some counties have like one lumber mill employing 90% of the citizens. It’s their choice to live in those places, this is still a free country and they could move if they wanted to 🙂

          Hi Bobby,

Although I’m no unemployment expert, I suspect Google tracks the government records that were compiled from the local unemployment offices in every State when unemployed people file for their benefits.

As you indicated, the unemployment rate only reveals part of the picture. Beside the people who do not want to take jobs for less pay, who knows how many people are still unemployed and are not tracked after their unemployment benefits run out?

Although the unemployment rates may not accurately reflect each local living condition, the rates relatively reveal the States where employment opportunities seem to be better. It is also interesting to note that Sporack Obama of the Spending Federation continually blames Dubya Bush for the current Economic crisis when the unemployment rates increased from 4.8% in Dec. 2007 to 8.6% Apr. 2009 during the current Democratic Controlled Congress.

I know divisive Party Politics, something Sporack Obama was against in his campaign, are at play here when Obama blames a lame duck President (Bush) yet, blaming only one man when Obama’s party has been in power since Jan 3, 2007 is not the way to take responsibility for his (Obama) failed policies and deficit spending.

Speaking of moving, do you know why people want to continue living eight feet below sea level in New Orleans? Do you know if the canals, levees, and pumps that keep New Orleans dry are causing the city to sink three feet every 100-years is true? If this is true then why would anyone move back to a city that will be under water some day?

P.S. Although Bush was a lame duck in 2007 and 2008, he could have sent a clear message of disapproval by vetoing more Democratic Bills. No doubt, the Democratic Controlled Congress would have overridden Bush’s vetoes yet, the current Economic crisis may have been delayed and perhaps, the majority of Americans would have seen the Democrats as the party that lacked fiscal discipline, etc.

P.P.S. My grandson Bobby loves my Bobby (Howie Mandel) impersonations! 😀

  2. Willy has found the change that Obama promised. But Willy had to look in the cushions of his truck.

    10-4 Willy

  3. Yes … I do agree. By the time our national debt is racked up to levels that are impossible to ever pay back, we are going to be doomed no matter who is president.

    • Miss Moneypenny

      Hi Speedcat Hollydale,

The Outstanding National Debt as of 13 May 2009 at 03:11:13 AM GMT is $11,265,090,325,129 which is 42.83 times the $257 million debt of President Truman in 1950.

At 5% interest per year, the $11.3 trillion national debt costs $600 billion in interest per year or about $2,000 for every U.S. man, woman and child. It is Interesting to note that government debt equals $37,666.666 (= the repeating Mark of Beast as Satire) for every U.S. man, woman and child.

“However, given that interest rates are still relatively low and the total debt is increasing by 9% annually, it seems the United States is already unable to pay even the interest on its debt.”

General David Walker, the former U.S. Comptroller, has concluded that the real “national” debt is about $55 trillion.

“The United States can be likened to Rome before the fall of the empire. Its financial condition is worse than advertised. It has a broken business model. It faces deficits in its budgets, its balance of payments, its savings – and its leadership.” — David Walker, Comptroller General of the United States

Looks like everyone needs to buckle up as we may be in for a rough ride sooner than Americans think.

Unfortunately, these conditions would not exist if Americans ignored the divisive media and blogger issues of loving the man, disliking the man, or the racist smokescreens and began seeking the common goal of protecting our constitutional freedoms.

“No man is entitled to the blessings of freedom unless he be vigilant in its preservation.” — General Douglas MacArthur

“If a nation expects to be ignorant and free … it expects what never was and never will be.” — Thomas Jefferson

      • Well put Miss Moneypenny. This is just too logical for Americans to understand???

        • Miss Moneypenny

          Hi Speedcat Hollydale,

I’ve been searching for the right question to ask that might answer your question.

Currently asking: Are the majority of Americans blinded by Obama’s alleged charisma to see hole the Democratic controlled Congress has been digging since Jan 3, 2007?

  4. Trust me … massive tax increase is on the way. It will just be under the disguise of GREEN and HEALTH. Cap and trade will be the most massive tax increase in our nations history, yet Obama will not consider this to be a tax on those making less than 250,000. Classic liberal scam and confuse for the sheep following commands of “The Great One”.

EVERYTHING, and I mean everything Obama said in debates was total BS

Liberals could give a rats ass about solar and wind power. They are just using CO2 emmisions as a way to blindside citizens into being happy about a massive energy tax. More control … more money … more government. They are not socialists though – ha haaaaa !!!!!!!!

The spending redux?? “Show and tell” for the brain damaged 😉

    • Miss Moneypenny

      Hi Speedcat Hollydale!

Ironically, Abraham Lincoln freed the slaves whereas Abraham Obama will enslave taxpayers more 146 years later.

I suspect saving pennies here while spending billions there is to keep the sheeple happy that Obama is keeping his campaign promise of “Change.”

I have yet to see Obama keep his word either in his campaign or as President. For one example, ending the Iraq war was one cornerstone of the Obama’s campaign, “And, I will bring this war to end in 2009. So don’t be confused… I don’t want to play politics on this issue.” Senator Obama’s campaign speech in Casper WY on March 7, 2008

On February 27, 2009, President Obama declared that combat operations would end in Iraq within 18 months on Aug 31, 2010 and the troops would be gradually withdrawn out of Iraq by December 31, 2011 — the same identical deadline set under an agreement that Dubya Bush signed with the Iraqi government in 2008.

The two key points of this one example… there has been No Change between Big Brother Dubya Bush and Big Brother Abraham Obama.

And, when has anyone seen the size of government been reduced by either party?
I doubt electing a Republican controlled Congress in 2010 or electing a Republican President in 2012 will reverse the power that Obama has quickly achieved.

      In closing…

Based on witnessing friends and family suffer from the lack of healthcare on Medicare, I suspect Government healthcare will only benefit the Doctor Welfare State not the patients.
