Congressmen exempt themselves from the Public Option of Obamacare

Congress has discovered the cure to Obama’s government-run public health insurance plan. Congressmen will keep their private coverage options provided in the successful Federal Employees Health Benefits Program

Congress defeated Rep. Dean Heller’s amendment which would have been added to Section 202 of America’s Affordable Health Choices Act (H.R. 3200)…

(h) REQUIRED ENROLLMENT OF MEMBERS OF CONGRESS.—
In the case of an individual who is a Member of Congress or a dependent of such Member, beginning with Y1 and notwithstanding any other provision of law—
(1) such individual shall no longer be eligible to enroll in a health benefits plan under chapter 89 of title 5, United States Code; and
(2) insofar as the individual is an Exchange-eligible individual, the individual shall only be eligible to enroll in the public health insurance option through the Health Insurance Exchange.

Rep. Dean Heller, R-Nevada

Apparently, Obama’s Congressmen are unwilling to walk the rule of law walk they want to force on u.s.

Congress has enjoyed a great private Healthcare plan for years. Obama does NOT need H.R.3200 to reform a false healthcare crisis since a federal law could be passed allowing all Americans to enroll in Federal Employees Health Benefits Program and receive the best Healthcare Options on the planet.

Our Founding Fathers created a government to protect our rights not a government to control and direct u.s. which includes our unalienable right to choose any healthcare plan or no healthcare plan. Taxing Americans without acceptable Healthcare coverage is U.N.constitutional (reference: H.R.3200 section 401 (pgs 167-168) TAX ON INDIVIDUALS WITHOUT ACCEPTABLE HEALTH CARE COVERAGE).

You don’t need Vicodin to cure Congress. The cure is: vote the Democrats out of Congress in 2010.
