(1) Apparently, Nevada voters love President Obama’s top lieutenant, the Senate mouthpiece of Obamacare. Mrs. Harry Doubtfire was on fire spouting the platitudes of Obama’s Healthcare Reform, H.R. 3590 and H.R. 4872.
“Instead of joining us on the right side of history, all the Republicans can come up with is, ‘slow down, stop everything, let’s start over.’ If you think you’ve heard these same excuses before, you’re right,” Reid said Monday. “When this country belatedly recognized the wrongs of slavery, there were those who dug in their heels and said ‘slow down, it’s too early, things aren’t bad enough.'” – Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid compares Republican Opponents of Health Care Reform to Supporters of Slavery, Dec 7, 2009
Apparently, Dirty Harry loves changing American history which recorded the Democrats supported slavery, and the Republicans opposed slavery.
“Harvard just completed a study that shows 45,000 Americans die every year because they don’t have health insurance, almost 1,000 a week in America.” – Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid at the Health care Summit, Feb 25, 2010
“Nevertheless, like you, I remain committed to pursuing the public option.” – Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid‘s letter to his progressive colleagues in the Senate, Jeff Merkley of Oregon and Bernie Sanders of Vermont, March 19, 2010
“We had to do health insurance reform to remain competitive in the world economy, and it creates jobs–thousands and thousands of jobs.” – Harry Reid at the Las Vegas Debate on Oct 14, 2010
Perhaps, Dirty Harry should have used common decency and sense instead of describing his constituents as “evil-mongers” when they have a constitutional right to speak their mind at town hall meetings.
(The Senate majority leader accused those protesting President Barack Obama’s health-care proposals of being “evil mongers” during his closing speech of the annual energy conference in Las Vegas on Aug 12, 2009.)
Did Yogi Berra shapeshift into Harry Reid to say the following incoherent words?
“Can’t put them in prison unless you release them.” – Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid in a press conference on closing the prison at Guantanomo Bay, and bringing the detainees to prisons in the United States, May 19, 2009
