Obama is the Global Danger of the Drone Ranger

Americans are no Strangers to the Global Danger of the Drone Ranger.

On May 22, 2013, the Obama administration acknowledged that four American citizens have been killed in drone strikes in Pakistan and Yemen since 2009.

Al-Awlaki, a radical Muslim cleric, his 16-year-old son, Abdulrahman, and Samir Khan were killed by a drone strike in Yemen on Sep 30th, 2011. In 2009 Jude Kenan Mohammed, former resident of North Carolina, was killed by a drone strike in Pakistan.
Attorney General Eric H. Holder’s letter to Patrick Leahy stated that only Anwar al-Awlaki was specifically targeted and the other three citizens were “not specifically targeted by the United States.”

Whether Americans deserved to be targeted by a drone strike is not the issue. The constitutionality of Obama’s Dirty Wars is the issue.

Does the interpretation of Article II in the Constitution allow the Commander-in-Chief to unilaterally set counter-terrorism and national security policies in undeclared wars?

Does the Authorization to use Military force (AUMF) give Obama authority for his Dirty Wars?

Despite the Obama administration justifying their broad exercise of military powers was authorized by the AUMF and acknowledging the practice of targeted killings by drones, lethal Drone Strikes are CIA covert operations against terrorist targets outside of active combat zones (nonMilitary action).

Critics claim Lethal Drones Strikes are illegal since assassinations (illegal killings) conducted by U.S. officials or persons employed by the United States is prohibited by Executive Order 12333.

Apparently, due process under the Fifth Amendment and prohibiting the seizure or deprivation of life, liberty, or property under the Fourth Amendment no longer apply to American citizens on foreign soil.

Is Obama’s Global Covert War against terrorism causing Global Instability?

On July 29th, 2013, Sen. Rand Paul released a follow-up letter from Stephen D. Kelly, assistant director for the FBI’s congressional liaison office, who stated the FBI doesn’t need a warrant to use Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) aka Domestic Drones. Considering the Constitutionality of the Drone Strikes and the NDAA of 2012, every American should be concerned with Domestic Drone surveillance.

Currently, Obama is the Commander-In-Chief of the Afghanistan War and the Dirty Wars of Ethiopia (U.S. troops hunting the war criminal Joseph Kony), Libya (Warplanes over Libya to protect the Libyan people from the brutality of Moammar Qaddafi, Mar 28, 2011 to Oct 20, 2011), Pakistan (targeting Taliban militants), Somalia (Air Strikes and raids) , and Yemen (September 2011 drone strike on U.S. citizen and alleged terrorist Anwar al-Awlaki).
