Did President Obama take lessons from President Jimmy Carter for Obama’s New Fourth of July Celebrations?

According to Fox News, Obama authorized U.S. embassies to invite Iranian officials to Independence Day parties for July Fourth. The State Department cable was sent on May 29th to all U.S. embassies and consulates.

From ABC News: Roadside bomb attacks against American forces in Iraq are more deadly due to the new IED (improvised explosive device) bombs produced in Iran. The Iranian bombs have been smuggled into Iraq since October, 2008.

On June 28th, 2009, Army Gen. Ray Odierno, the U.S. commander in Iraq, reported that Iran continues to “interfere” in Iraq yet, he is “not authorized to do anything outside the borders of Iraq.” Source: CNN’s “State of the Union” program

Can Obama succeed where Carter failed?

Perhaps, Governor Deval Laurdine Patrick can help President Barack Hussein Obama draw the line in the Grey Poupon dijon mustard by transferring the complimentary sparklers intended for the Iran Diplomats to Bay State revelers?

The Transman (a female-to-male transformer and a pun for Trains-man) admitted he was texting his girlfriend when he rear-ended a trolley and injured 49 people on May 8th.

For the safety of commuters, Daniel A. Grabauskas, the general manager of the MBTA, will fire any T operators caught carrying a cellphone, pager, or similar device.
Hopefully, the new rules will stop the Transman’s Gear
from entering another Trains’ Rear.
